Default Trivia Contest

I enjoy trivia contests, I've been competing for years and have actually competed on television, but thats a different story

Would there be any interest if I were to start a trivia competition here in Chit Chat? It could be a group thing, a running count, about adventures or not but I just want to gauge interest.

So respond if you would compete in such a thing or just enjoy watching from the sidelines.

Uh, YEAH. My brain is filled with giant quantities of irrelevant fluff, which might be why I get so confused all the time. Anyway, bring on the trivia.

(Unless it has to do with sports. )

Maybe a few, but I'm not British so at least there won't be any cricket questions.

And what's wrong with cricket? Apart from it being very slow and having both teams wear the same colour to try and confuse you that is. (Despite being a Brit I'm not a big fan)

I'm all for giving a trivia contest a go. If it's going to be a contest you'd have to have answers submitted off-forum though. Private Messaging or shall we just have a free-for-all rush on the boards to answer questions?

A Trivia contest would be great.

My Indian friend explained Cricket to me. She explained it very well, but I still don't understand it completely.

I think this is a good idea.

Actually, can we all have individually tailored questions to skip the subjects that we dislike? I'm not a fan of sport, geography or history questions personally.

Only if it's not a lot of trouble of course.

I think theres enough support to give it a try, I'll make a new thread later explaining the rules and with the first questions.

I'll try to make the questions as varied as possible, but they'll still reflect my body of knowledge a little. I'll work on making them accessible to people from everywhere, so I'll ditch my American history questions

Nah, that's OK so long as they're on the Civil War or the 1920s/30s ...

I'm British and absolutely hate cricket - the most boring game in the world
Just ask questions on science and literature then I will be happy!!!!
