I guess you haven't heard the sport news in Spain... ANOTHER guy has DIED at a stadium! BEATEN to death! Way too many people have died beacuse of football/soccer...Once a kid was killed by a fire cracker/flare thingie....
Some of the spanish soccer fans are skinheads or racists... soccer attracts bad crowds... If you are from one team you have to hate another one...
And the videogames... THEY are all the same!
Sports and exercises are BAD for you! Douglas Adams died of a heart attack, while working out in a gym! What's that thing girls get when they puke their meals and get skinny as a broomstick because they don't want to look fat? Well now they is something new, people who work out too much, so much they put their health in danger!

You can't blame that on the sport itself. That's more to do with the culture. There are countries that manage to play football without those problems.

Yes, the spanish culture and most south american ones are obsessed with soccer...The news dedicate 15 minutes to sport and 90% of that is football... The nº 1 selling newspaper in Spain? A sports only one! Who is the most important/ famous person in Spain that has tons of merchandasing? David Beckham...
I'm pretty sure nobody in the US wears Michael Jordan bras.... But we have Beckham Bras....
What I meant to say that exercise and sports are not always healthy for you, I got myself hurt myself doing exercises....

Of course all that was a RANT! It didn't have to make sense or be sensible...
