That trailer's great! I really wanna see this, regardless if it's Burton or not.

Looks pretty cool. I'm a big Burton fan, I just hope he doesn't make it too sappy. Definitely looking forward to it though. Thanks for the link, jko
Is it just me, or is the music from the trailer directly ripped from Edward Scissorhands? It's possible that since this movie is being scored by Elfman as well that it just sounds similar, but it's really, REALLY similar.

I saw the trailer in the weekend, and after I watched, a couple of things jumped to mind. Firstly, a seemingly total lack of all things gothic that are so common in Burton-movies, and secondly the fact that the movies just seemed to SCREAM 'Forrest Gump meets Amelie'!
Not that I'm rejecting the movie because it looks interesting, but these are just the thoughts I had.

That trailer looks highly INTERESTING!
Tim has delivered again, can't wait to see this movie, I wonder when it's going to come to Finland. Maybe in spring, march or april I guess. And that music is from Edward Scissorhands, at least the end part of the trailer is. Danny Elfman and Tim Burton, world's greatest tag team. |

This trailer absolutely looks stunning! Burton again shows he's an artist first and a director second. Some of those set pieces looked absolutely gorgeous (the car underwater, the haunted forest, the yellow flowers, ...) Just beautiful!
Can't wait to see this one. It's scheduled for an early Februari release over here. I'll start counting the days then till that day. |

Ack, blasted QuickTime is corrupted on my computer. Guess I'll have to find the trailer in a format that Windows Media Player supports...

I never had a high opinion of Tim Burton's storytelling. He can make a hell of a beautiful trailer, but kill me if the story delivers...
