Default God bless the children of Iraq

Al Lowe mentioned this in his Cyberjoke... Awfully funny website.

Wonder how many there are that have "contributed" to that site...? I agree, for some reason I find it exceedingly sad.

It's funny if you know the backstory. That picture said originally "Ltd. Bordeaux killed my dad and then knocked up my sister" or something like that and there was a debate going if that was fake or not (I don't know if it was ever proved fake or authentic).

Then someone made a website, erased the original (or not) text and let people type in their own.

Fake. That's not the real text.

The joke's still not funny, though.

Exactly, there's no variation in the letters.

Well, the debate was whether the original picture was fake. Obviously the one on this website is, that's not the question. Someone photoshopped out the text that was there before and replaced it with this dynamic system.

I never noticed that it was dynamic.

Lol, I guess I should have mentioned that in the first post. The joke is that you can enter your own text and whatever on the cardboard. Click on "random" a couple of time to see some humorous entries. I thought the one I posted above was nice, didn't realize people might be offended by it...

I don't understand that if the 'original' one with "Lcpl Boudreaux killed my dad th(en) he knocked up my sister!" was made in photoshop, it should be fairly easy to proof (with some histogram analysis or something like that) that that one has been tampered with. Supposedly the real original text was "Welcome Marines!", but there is no (publicly) produced version of the original photograph.

I briefly tried to analyze the 'original' myself, but I couldn't detect a clear photoshop mistake, so the 'original' might be the real original.
