Default Weird and wonderfull TV shows

I have started watching [again] Darkplace a weird show on SBS.This spoof TV series is an unearthed 80's horror TV show, complete with poor production values, awful dialogue and hilarious violence. The series is set in a Hospital in Romford, which is situated over the gates of Hell.

If you want odd, check out Channel 101. I recommend Twigger's Holiday and Ringwald and Molly.

Full House. Saccharine family values, ugly hairstyles, and Bob Saget. What's there not to like?

There used to be this show called Strangers with Candy. It was about a middle aged, runaway prostitute who decides to go back to high school. Now that was pretty odd. Hit and miss, but odd.

I loved Full House when I was a kid.

I'm not sure if I could still stomach it, though.

They made a movie of that, basically the same as the show but longer, it is a bit gross at times.

Don't you mean Garth Marenghi's Darkplace? (originally it was on Channel 4 in the UK)

As the man himself puts it. "Garth Marenghi. Writer, Dreamweaver, Also, sometimes actor". Part of the fun of the show is the sheer egotistical pretentiousness of the show's writer and his insistence on his name being associated with everythng. (even the music was supposedly based on melodies whistled by him) The programme was interspersed with fake interviews with those that supposedly took part My all-time favourite quote from these is

It wouldn't be an ideal way to work.
