I haven't seen it but my friend who has says that it's Tim Burtons best movie ever. It looks like Forrest Gump to me and that is not the kind of movie Burton should be making IMO. I must see this movie because it seems that you can only love or hate it.

I liked it. I'd recommend go watching it, it's really quite the story, lol!

Yeah, it's definitely worth seeing. It's not his best film in my opinion but it is very nice.

I wanted to see it last night. We were going to go as a group of 8, but then 4 people wanted to play a computer game instead and the other 3 wanted to watch Along Came Polly. So I saw Along Came Polly. To be fair it was marginally better than I expected, but I was expecting a rubbish chick-flick, while my friends were expected something like Meet The Parents (and were of course disappointed).

I wish I'd just gone in to Big Fish anyway

I really want to see it, but it still isn't out in Hungary. Is it just Hungary, or is it taking a while all over Europe?

I want to see it! Of course Jac Goderie gave it a mediocre rating, but I still want to see it. If only for Ewan McGregor's fine play

Not out in Norway yet.

But them House of Sand & Fog and Mosnter is out, so I guess I shouldn't complain. Anyone got any opinions on those movies, btw?

I loved it. Then again, I am a big fan of Burton's work. The movie is stylized, narratively all-over-the-place... very postmodern. It's a tearjerker, so bring your singnificant others... I rarely cry at movies, but I was really touched by the ending to Big Fish.

See it!!

Definitely wasn't Burton's best movie by any means, but nonetheless worth seeing. Visually, it was gorgeous, as one expects from a Burton film, but I was also pleasantly surprised by how well the ending tied things up. I'd recommend it.

Maybe in *your* province of Holland, but in Noord-Brabant, Filmspot is certainly still being aired

Yeah he's still on local channels. I don't always agree with him but I love the way he talks.

It is out in Hungary now. Hopefully I will be able to see it sometime this weekend. Next week Lost in Translation comes out here as well. If all goes well I'll be able to see it provided I can convince my parents to let me.
