Why does everybody have such hi-res, inside chimney zoom-ins? I can barely get it zoomed into a level where the whole town doesn't show, and even then it's real blurry...

Oh well, at least you can't come a-knocking.

Here's my current residents, only a month to we have to move out though..

Edit: Gah, Imageshack is completely horrible to use! It takes me hours to at all get it to upload a picture.. Most of the time it just resets..
I was going to post another pic from google earth, and my pic of the silo, but the way imageshack is behaving now, I doesn't seem like it will happen anytime soon..

Finally got another pic up..

Edit two:

Here's my pic of the complex..

Not sure, if you have a google account does it let you add your own pins??
You can't add them yourself. I think it's something you'll have to do.

Ack, ack, ack. Regarding ocal sights and all, here's the curve the river you can see on my second screenshots bends into (North-West of my place). There's also a castle nearby. Now about NOTEWORTHY sights.. that's 'bout it as far as I'm concerned, I dig woods though, so everything's pretty fine as you can tell from the satellite shots.

It's not that high-res in my area too just yet, although I'd advice you all to consider covering your skylights with curtains within the next few years if you don't want me to take a look into your rooms!

Cheap fuel prices, YAY! Many a man indeed drives to Luxembourg just to refuel. I'm roaming around Svalsta in Google Earth and can't make out a sportsfield.. no local football side in Svalsta?

Check Enstaberga. We've got a football club with beautiful surroundings and large areas with room for many fields.

God, that would be a great place to fly an open-cockpit WWI fighter replica....

The river looks nice. Still, no excuse for the sea. And it's a bit... green.

Found 'em. Reminds me that I immediately noticed that some of the satellite pictures are already a few years of age.. and guess from what first? Sportsfields that now have artificial turf are still shown in brown color, indicating that at the time the pictures were taken they featured the same kind of dirt that wrecked my knees all these years ago.

But TWO sportsfields, wow!

Also, I'm picturing Fairgdmther's neighbourhood as the picture-postcard American suburbia as seen in various Spielberg movies from "E.T." to "Poltergeist". One pool for each house, too. w00t!

Telltale Games is located entirely within a large white delivery van, headed down the highway! Those frauds! I always knew they would take my money and skip town.....

The World according to Lucien.

Btw, I just found GIGANTIC turtle fossils on the coast West of Dubai, Dubai... check this out if you've got Google Earth installed. Couldn't make them out in the browser version for some reason.
Spoiler:
Seriously, tourism...

It is suburbia! Unfortunately, most don't have pools here, that's for a richer neighborhood, I'm afraid. The yards are small here, not that I mind, but a pool would be nice. I'm only two streets away from a very commercial area, though. In Sarasota, the really nice houses are in gated communities.

This is the area from a bit further away - notice all the tiny ponds. Those two areas in the lower left are parking areas for local shopping centers.
