Two extremely short animations
In case anyone here is interested, I've recently finished my current project. Two very, very short animations.
http://www.jonkk.dk/film/anim/aheadOfTheGame.mov http://www.jonkk.dk/film/anim/aBlueDay.mov The music is composed by my awesome friend from Iceland. And played by him and others. Hope you enjoy!

Good work. That first one was well done, haven't watched the second one yet.
Rather quirky, really. Do you do this professionally?

I work at an animation studio, but I do the more basic stuff.
This here's all mine, and pretty much the first finished work I've done.

This one's very nice in its retro look. Reminds me of some of the modernist short animated's from the 50s. There's one I saw years ago called Ma Merle that was done to a French song and I wish I could find it again. It's not exactly similar to your style but it's definitely lighthearted, playful, and very modernist, like yours. Quote:
Thanks for sharing.

Good stuff. Really enjoyed those, especially the second one. The music reminds me of silent film scores, very cool.

I love the music! And the style of the drawings. Very nice work. I think I speak for all of us when I say: "We want more!"

Thanks everyone! Thanks for the lovely comments!
I would love to work towards making my own animations commercially, but I really have no idea how. Other than to just plug these animations everywhere possible.

Whaddya mean you don't now how? Whutta a lame-ass excuse! Are you near a university? Go to their art/design department and seek out a professor and ask him. He will know. Go seek out commercial animation artists in your city. Show them your work and ask for a critique and how the industry works and then ask for leads. They will know.

I think you should submit the Blue Day to Channel Frederator!

Thanks for the tip Tanukitsune! Have uploaded it there.
Heehee, trep. It was indeed a lame-o excuse. I work at an animation studio, for christ's sake. I should be able to get some advice there.

Those were really cool. Telling a solid story in such a short space of time is hard... Love the design and the timing - and the music's great too. Keep it up!

Cool!
I liked both, the first was funny, and the second a bit more disturbing.. (typical me to not have a problem with a removable head, but react to squished bugs..) The blue creature really reminds me of Bloo from Fosters home, both in appearance and personality..
