Default Super Bowl XLI

I must say that I really couldn't care less of the American "handball" final that seems to be the biggest sports event of the year in USA.

But, what I would like to know is about the Super Bowl tv ads, was there anything big there this year?
Usually the Super Bowl ads are always big money ads, like last year we had RDA reprising his Macgyver role in a Mastercard ad, and everyone should know about the 1984 Mac ad from Apple of course.

They weren't good for the most part. Bud Light had a couple good ones, as did careerbuilder.com, and one with Robert Goulet.

You can watch them here.

They aren´t allowed to broadcast the commercials on German television.
I was glad that i didn´t have to sit thorugh them.

But Prince was great.
I´m not a big fan of him but the half time show was awesome.
I mean he truly ROCKED !!!
Great guitar sound !

I just stumbled upon this, Kolzig http://www.youtube.com/superbowl you can watch all the Superbowl advertisements there.

While I don't watch American "Football", I channel surfed into the half time show as Prince began his set, and stopped as it was a great performance.

I found out about that youtube/googlevideo link late yesterday after I made this thread and I got what I wanted from there.

But thanks Jat.

Really lame ads this time, maybe next year they will do better ones again.

Are you serious? He butchered Proud Mary and We Will Rock You, I mean I couldn't even tell what song it was until someone pointed it out. They should have let Billy Joel do the Half-Time Show and let Prince have the PreGame.

I agree, Prince just drives me I have never liked him as a singer/ artist or whatever he is calling himself. All he needs to go with his high hill boots and his make up is a pair of tits and he would be a woman.

Covering a song doesn't mean it has to sound like it. I thought he did a good job of rocking out.

Billy Joel used a vocoder or something for his voice, and I couldn't take a halftime show listening to that.

Although I respect your decision I have to disagree. I'm not saying that Prince is a bad artist I'm just saying that he should stick to his own stuff.
