Happy Eid Mubarak everyone

I know I've not been frequent. Well, here's to the celebration and prosperity. To anyone here who's Hindu, wishing you Happy Diwali (which was last Saturday). I love these double celebrations. If I were in Malaysia right now, I'd be eating twice as much, double on the special dishes for the festivities.

Made cake during the weekend. Now I have to worry about its safety as my flatmates have been eyeing it and been making plans to sneak off a few bites. Having a small party at my flat tomorrow. Curry, rice, sweets... the works.

That sounds utterly delicious and wonderful, and not just because I've recently recovered from a mild bout of food poisoning.

It does have a bit to do with the abject disappointment that comes with eating too many bland, lifeless chilled supermarket curries. Wretched stuff. Still, I'm losing weight. Which is nice.

Enjoy the party. If, by some odd chance, a road trip to London is in order, do look me up. I know a lovely place to go here in Chelsea for nice atmosphere and mediocre coffee.

I went for lecture and when I came back, I discovered that my flatmates had polished off my cake. That one whole tray! I didn't even have any
