Is a nice guy, who does a good job at stopping to smoke. He really should by those NWN expansions though.

Jaz is a great personality: creative, smart and fun. Really nice as well. She's as looney as can be (without being tucked away ) and proud of it. Prefers to be called The Looney Empress and talks to her computer (I guess) Iggy.
Her famous welcome to the forum speeches scares most of the newbies (who decides to write a I'm new to the forum thread) away.

Is new, so there's not much we know yet, but seems like a very nice person. And anyone that lives in the UK must be great.

Does that include Tony Blair?
^ Is a cynic. However, does not give his opinion if it's not shared by several people, and does not share his opinion unless he's not the first one to share it. A bit cautious. Does not like plants of any kind. Is uppety about his status.

Oh, and I like plants, but you're otherwise pretty much right. |

my opinion of Lacey? well when I first came to the forum he rubbed me the wrong way several times. most times when some rubs me the wrong way I try and keep my distance, but something kept making me want to come back. In some ways Rob reminds me of my husband. That is a good and bad thing. The bad part of it is sometimes Rob is misunderstood. The good part is that he is very detailed and gets things done. It might be in a very technical way but it will always be done right. Rob won’t share his true feeling very often, only the feelings that sit right at the surface. What I mean by that is if you ask * what is your favorite color* * the answer might be red- and that is where the conversation will end. He won’t elaborate of the “why”. I think that Rob is scared of getting hurt whether it be emotionally or not. If he would let his hair down so to speak then people would accept him more quickly and the feelings that he has of people being annoyed by him over time would be less of an issue.
But I said allllllllllll of that to say, I think that Rob is an ok guy and I think that once I get to know him a lot more maybe he will let his guard down some more. Everything that I said was just an observation on my part I could be totally wrong (and most times I am) but I hope that nothing that I have said hurts him in anyway b/c I would like to get to know Rob better.

Sorry for having annoyed you. That was never my intention.
And it intrigues me that most people are far more perceptive about me than I am about them. |

Hammerite is one person I know nothing about despite seeing a myriad of posts. That's intriguing - I usually pick up on personalities with just one post, but Hammerite's made lots and I'm still totally, totally clueless.
In short: Ve-e-e-e-ery interesting.

As far as the perceptions that I have of you, I could be totally wrong and I could be seeing something that is totally not there. so just take it with a grain of salt.

You should have told me. If I'm being annoying, then certainly don't hesitate to tell me, anyone. It's not my intention to annoy anyone, but I do say things that rub people the wrong way occasionally

Sometimes I find that Hammerite says things that are really strange - often intentionally, I *think* - but then he often makes a really perceptive comment.
He also defies the (incorrect) rule that younger people don't make good conversation on web forums. Which is good . |
