PS3 Will Rule!!!

I'm getting a PS3 who else is?

And I don't know which version to get,the cheaper 20GB one or the expensive
60GB one any ideas?The 60GB one has a wireles controller which it says you can't get for the cheaper one and it also has a HD diskdrive or something.Thats what I read in a magazine anyway.The first game I'm gonna get is Tony Hawks Project 8.I saw him at a NASS event at NEC in Birmingham on the 29th and the 30th of July.Did any of you guys go?

The cheaper one doesn't have the good stuff in other words.Like silver chromed plating and bluetooth compatabilities and HD graphics.
It's supposed to be £359(cheaper one) and £425(expensive one).

I haven't seen anything from the ps3 that warrants anywhere near that type of money. All the ps3 features are geared towards ramped up graphics. They have done nothing to improve or enable better gameplay. Personally, my vote (and cash) is going to the company who is giving us something different and new, Nintendo.

Are you gonna get it at the introductory price? You do realize that, by getting the cheap version, Sony is depriving you of all the features just to coerce you to buy the more expensive version, don't you?

If you plan on watching HD movies you won't be able to enjoy it on the cheaper version (no HDMI port). I don't think that would greatly affect your enjoying the graphically progressive games, particularly if you're not a tech whore, but really, wouldn't it be in your best interest long term to just get the 60GB one since you'll have it for the next several years during which HD technology will become ubiquitous?

The cheaper version isn't going to be available at the UK lauch. (Maybe not ever)

I have an Xbox 360 and will most definitely get a Wii. The PS3 is going to cost way to much money.
