Assuming we can't vote for ourselves, my vote goes to sagemasta flash. He sent me games in the mail once. That makes him #1 in my book of kickassness.

bysmitty is the undisputed king of computer advice. It's always nice to know there's someone who will be happy to answer questions, if you ever need to call on them!
Needless to say, Scott is a veritable font of knowledge and wisdom too. |

Trep is like the all-accepting mother of this place. But he's been AWOL for a while. I guess the all-accepting mother title is not quite the same as the Title Most Useful Member (sic)...

Kurufinwe is the undisputed DosBox Emperor and King. I haven't taken advantage of his services, but many have.
I was searching the forums and I ran across a Sierra tech help thread with this very funny quote from Kuru: Quote:
Edit: I also think many people are #1 in that a lot of forumites help in many different ways. Last edited by Melanie68; 07-19-2006 at 09:12 PM. |

I can delete the forum at will... I could argue that by not doing so, I'm pretty helpful

Such a hard question.
Ninth, jjacob (where did he go?) and Kurufinwe have always been helpful with gaming advice as well as tech. help. Stepurhan for being who he is: a fun poet and a gentleman! FGM and Scott have the wisdom to guide us all, Jaz and Rob corrects my spelling and grammar whether I like it or not. Seebs, Trep and Jat make me laugh. Mel's links keeps me informed on whatever the topic is. She and Colpet also give me veterinarian advice when I have questions. I can't pick only one.

Melanie always tries to help, and is handy on a number of subjects. Everyone's been pretty helpful whenever I've asked about something.

I don't find the question vulgar, but that might have to do with that I don't find the title a, lacking a better word for this, necessity. [Perhaps a better question, in my opinion of it, would be "Who's helped you most?" - and it's against my belief of egoism that anyone would want to artificially aspire to that, and thus be upset if they don't qualify. ]

I think it depends on what you think of as useful.
As the guy that edits my all-too-rare articles, Jackal is pretty damn useful. AGA has done random stuff for me in the past. Everyone here is useful at making me feel accepted™. Jaz is useful for keeping me sane. |
