hum...very interesting.... Maybe, one reason why western people feel more funny to this video is that Western people consider more rude or taboo about expression about things related to human body than Japanese. Note Shimajiro (that youtube video character) is a famous character of Benesse Corporation(a company which make correspondence education material). Shimajiro appears not only child education material but also TV animation. I guess that this video is made seriously for child education. This is a link for Shimajiro page of Benesse corp. http://www.shimajiro.co.jp/hiroba/enjoy.html |

My favourites are the salmon commercial and the one with the pigeon and the parked car.

Banned Micorsoft ad.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1QLywtTCy2c LOL! It's actually pretty cute. Why ban it? Tight assed oversensitive public.

It's probably on Youtube somewhere, as well....but this is the weirdest television ad I've ever seen. For the PS3, no less. Uncensored.

Did I ever mention that Disney's "Mulan" is one of my favourite movies ever? And it is my motivation movie. Whenever I feel down or feel that everything is pointless, I watch Mulan. And specifically the song "I'll make a man out of you".
Well, since I have the special edition DVD, with an extra DVD, I have some different versions of the song too. Like the Cantonese and Mandarin music videos, which are sung by no one else but Jackie Chan. I absolutely love those videos: Jackie Chan singing Cantonese (this music video was with clips from the movie) Jackie Chan singing in Mandarin Chinese (without clips) Jackie Chan also did the voice of Shang, the guy who sings the song, in the Mandarin version of the movie. And if you're interested, here's the whole thing in English, in case you don't know the lyrics (and the whole thing always brings me to happy tears at the end, so watch it anyway. As for understanding the lyrics...I know them by heart, so I can watch the Chinese versions and still know what they're singing, just by the sound of the music.): English version And the German version for comparison, which actually has the intro sequence of the song with the pole: German -

One of my favourite adverts ever is this one.
Of course, that one is even more funny if you live in the US and know this one. -
