That's ****ing creepy man, especially with Australia having that major comeback. Dammit, I thought I predicted 2-0 in the Italy game but I had 3-0. And of course I had 2-0 for the Czech republic game. Dammit! Ah well, joint 4th, not too bad.

Do goals scored in stoppage time count*?

* Yes I am being a spoilsport because I suck at this.

Rules

1. All games will be predicted. If you miss any you will lose out on points but can still predict on later games

2. Scores are as at final whistle (90 mins) Extra time and penalties DO NOT COUNT

3. Predictions posted in thread cannot be edited once game has started. Any that are will be forfeited.
So stoppage time does NOT equal extra time?

No.

Extra time only comes into in the Quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

If the game is all square after 90 mins they have to play 30 mins of extra time to try and get a winner.

In those cases the score at full time is the one that counts. (i.e the draw at 90 mins)

Don't worry Mel. I'm as successful or successless (is that a word?) as you are and we're actually not in the bottom of the list (yet ).

My predictions for tomorrow
S.Korea 3-0 Togo
France 2-1 Switzerland
Brazil 3-1 Croatia

I guess that's a good prediction for what is not to come.

And AJ. I'm impressed by your accuracy!

Sweden has been the only country to let me down, although it wasn't for the lack of trying, 26 attempts, 6 on target.

South Korea 2 Togo 1
France 4 Switzerland 1
Brazil 3 Croatia 1

Spain 1 Ukraine 1
Saudi Arabia 0 Tunisia 0
Germany 1 Poland 1

A day for high scores, and a day for draws.

He did indeed. His new name is 'Mystic AJ' I reckon. But if he gets all his new predictions right too then there's some match fixing going on somewhere

Bah, you useless pack of bastards*. I was leading my competition at work until that game

Picked the Italy-Ghana scoreline though so that saved me from falling too far off the lead.

btw Aj_, that was awesome

I'm not in the AG comp but, for what it's worth, my picks for today:

S Korea 2 - 0 Togo
France 1 - 0 Switzerland
Brazil 3 - 0 Croatia

AJ does it again with his 2-1 South Korea prediction.

Mind you if the France Swiss game produces 5 goals in the next 20 mins it would be a miracle.

The Swiss have been the most negative side in the cup, next to Paraguay, they weren't like this in qualifying. France were terrible, no width, no passing, and no tempo. Ribery is the Hargreaves of France, how he stayed on the pitch for so long. Barthez showed how bad a goal keeper he is. Henry isolated, playing in a position that he could never play, is beyond stupidity. The two full backs and Gallas were encouraging, France's defense doesn't look bad with Makelele in the side. Switzerland didn't show me anything, accept for plenty of diving and a handball that should have got a red card.

Germany 2-1 Poland
