Tim Curry
It's the wrong time of year, but I wanted to share this hysterical 80's gem, from the TV movie, The Worst Witch, starring Tim Curry. I think that you'll agree that the no-expense-spared special effects really are spectacular. Plus look out for inspired lyrics like 'your teacher could be a sardine... has anybody seen my tambourine?'

I can't watch the clip right now (I'm at work, if you can believe that) but def will when I get home, I love Tim Curry, he's a genius. Ever since he scared the shit out of me as a kid when he played Pennywise the Clown, I've been a big fan! He was quality in Loaded Weapon and Clue.

Whenever I hear his voice I automatically think of when he played Captain Hook in the cartoon "Peter Pan and the Pirates". It's my primary association with him.

All good roles, but to me Tim Curry will always be Dr. Frank N. Furter:

I just love the way that he puts everything into this role, even though it must have been clear that the movie wasn't going to be his Citizen Kane.

Haa!
Why are the little witches all dressed like witchy firefighters? The WIZ is like a cross between David Bowie, Lou Reed, and a rhythmic gymnast. I love how he's singing very seriously with a big cheap felt bat cut-out glued under his chin. |

I think the best show Tim Curry's been in is this: http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvs...i-syber-squad/
Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad. Watch the intro, pure gold. |

Of course, he was Gabriel in parts 1 & 3. Also starred in Toonstruck (as Nefarious) and Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster (as Doctor).

It proves that literally the craziest things can happen on Halloween. For instance, you could misplace your tambourine.

Couldn't he just've dyed his hair blonde and starred in Gabriel Knight 2?
