Default Sam and Max fun

Well, I just found an idiosyncratically silly Sam and Max video and posted it here. It's not form a game or something, but most probably from the series... Enjoy.

Thanks for that.

It was a good show, shame it never really took off. If there's one thing the world needs more of it's Sam and Max.

It could never take off... People -in their masses- don't appreciate really weird humor on TV and tend to associate TV-cartoons with children... Pah, who knows. In an onther world perhaps.

Might just have been me, but did the native village in the video remind anyone else of the cannibals village in Monkey Island?

I guess it's the same, only "better" drawn.

I'm sure the village was just a coincidence. They compiled a bunch of different backdrops from various episodes of the Sam and Max cartoons for that bit. The village was from 'Max's Big Day'. I haven't check recently but the VHS set of the cartoons was readily available on eBay a year or two ago. The 3 VHS tapes have something like 18 out of the 24 episodes ever made. I dunno' the details, only that I was lucky enough to snag a set and they are friggin' hilarious. That bit didn't make it onto any of the tapes though so thanks for the link. More Sam and Max goodness.

Do you know of any DVD release? That would be nice...
