Default Portable MP3 Question?

It will soon be Father's Day in Spain, and I was thinking of getting a portable MP3 player for my dad, but...

I don't want his song on my iTunes library! BLEAH!

From what I've heard if I get another iPod I'd have to create another user to do this...

But what if I use another brand of MP3 players? Or if I try to use another program for the other gadget?

And considering my father has trouble using a remote control, which is the easiest one to use?

The iPod Shuffle is probably the most basic one you'll find. The front panel only has fives buttons: pause/play, volume up/down, and skip next/previous. The back has a switch that toggles between off, linear play, and shuffle.

Or you could go for one of those MP3 phones like the new Sony Ericsson ones

I have a 256 MB Scandisk mp3 player. And I love it. It's pretty simple but comes with some nice features, such as a radio tuner and an audio recorder. It also came with a plastic weather-guard cover and an arm strap: perfect for exercising with!

Would he like a satellite radio thingy? (I may have spelled that incorrectly.) My dad is currently infatuated with them.

True. It's not an iPod, really. It's a painting of an iPod!
