I'm imagining that he can only blink, unless he has a few years to spare to spell out his book in morse code, then I think we're safe.

With blinking, we could always just imagine what he's trying to say, thus cutting on the workload. Also, the result may actually turn out to be slightly interesting.

Or we could just Terri Schiavo him. I have it on authority that Rob would never want to be kept alive by artificial means, he told me so himself.

Apparently I'm so used to compensating for people's typos, I automatically turned Giligan's "we" into a "he" without even thinking, hehe.

Don't work my dear, all my limbs are in fine working order.

The one that's half man, half vegetable, and has had a continuing fascination with the universe since he was a child.

Stephen Hawking

You should know about him, at least since he was in the news recently for attending a parabolic flight (apparently called "Vomit Comet" in English. ), in which short time weightlessness is achieved.

He's looking a little deadish.

In which an aircraft flies to altitude, then nose dives toward the planet. In such a case, you're not really weightless, you realise, but the fact that the aircraft is falling as fast as you are lends to that illusion. Also, air and objects inside the aircraft are stationary in relation to the aircraft, and the aircraft is stationary in relation to the passenger, and thus there is no sense of falling.
