It's from a beginning of an episode (you know, the part in the intro after Homer runs into and away from the garage) which was an homage to 2001: blah blah. I tried to find a shot from the part with the monolith, but couldn't so that had to do in hopes of someone recignizing where it's from.

Naturally.

A thread most controversial, that’s what I want to start
Full of impassioned arguments, of posting from the heart
And for this stimulation all will be thankful to me
On come on everybody it won’t work if you agree

I don't even know what that means!

And won't bother to check it out, I know it's not going to be worth it.

Ahh, 2002... the year I became unemployed (the first time ) because the company where I worked got taken over by a giant Japanese corporation and all of the head office functions (but none of the employees ) were moved to the even more evil, fake non-city of Mississauga... not that I'm still bitter about it.

I learned the truth at seventeen
That love was just for beauty queens
And high school girls with clear skinned smiles
Who marry young and then retire...
