This could be the basis of an obscenity case against Comic Sans:
Seeing the name, I thought the font would be a nice light-hearted font free of these lewd, crude serifs one finds in modern typefaces - but then when I was to draft a letter complaining about the default nature of Times New Roman, I noticed a serif on the letter 'I'. Needless to say, I went into shock and - having finally woken from my four-year coma - I would like to sue Vincent Connare, creator of the foul, atheist font!!

Seriously, you'd think people would have at least a bit of sense for what looks good in graphic design.  I can also say that Comic Sans has luckily never made its way into the workshops of bookbinders (for impressions on bookcovers, they have traditional printers letters). -
