Why does the "I" in Comic *SANS* have serifs anyway? I thought it was "Sans"! -

This could be the basis of an obscenity case against Comic Sans:
Seeing the name, I thought the font would be a nice light-hearted font free of these lewd, crude serifs one finds in modern typefaces - but then when I was to draft a letter complaining about the default nature of Times New Roman, I noticed a serif on the letter 'I'. Needless to say, I went into shock and - having finally woken from my four-year coma - I would like to sue Vincent Connare, creator of the foul, atheist font!!

Or, in my case, a lovely shade of blue background, with white text overlayed on it lol .

Not mine! I named mine Holly, from Red Dwarf.
And I don't even know what this "Comic Sans" is...

See, the thing about black holes is... they're black...
...and the thing about space is... it's black.

It's a font. Looks a bit like this. ... and then a black sign lights up black to tell you what you just did.

What's wrong with Comic Sans? I think it looks nice.

The problem lies not really with the font itself, but rather with the fact that it's overused and often used in situations that it just doesn't fit. Seriously, you'd think people would have at least a bit of sense for what looks good in graphic design. I can also say that Comic Sans has luckily never made its way into the workshops of bookbinders (for impressions on bookcovers, they have traditional printers letters). -

Hammerite's got the right idea-RED DWARF!!!
You see, the thing about space, your basic space color; is that's it's black! And the thing about the scanner scope...

I'm going to start with Somalia, then I'm going to raze Moscow. I'll try to squeeze Squinky into the schedule there somewhere.
