For my Parisian Sagittarian buddy: A couple of scrumptious Napoleons... ...and some wonderful pear brandy to wash them down with. Here's hoping all your birthday wishes come true!

Joyeux Anniversaire, vous le français chaud vous cloute!
I have no idea whether the "vous le français chaud vous cloute" part makes any sense but that's what I got from freetranslation.com. |

Thanks guys.
This thread made me laugh first thing in the morning (the first cartoon with the dino is hilarious; and makes no sense), and checking it again from times to times put a smile on my face all day. Gilly: Cloute doesn't mean anything at all. And I've no idea what it's supposed to mean. Sam: It means "Let's not cry over the passing of the time; it's turning off the candles." Or something like that. Do you know this cartoon? It's called "Le Chat" (the cat). Mel: Lake Tahoe. Sweet. All the others: Thanks again!

"You hot French stud you" somehow got translated into "vous le français chaud vous cloute". Isn't it so cute of us to try to come up with some French thing to say without possessing any competency in the French language at all? |
