Default Happy Worldwide D&D Game Day!

Dungeons&Dragons

Yes, for those of an RPG bent it's officially Worldwide D&D Game Day. So is anyone doing anything for it? Playing a game of Neverwinter Nights? Getting together - God forbid - with some real people for a game?

Or, like me, are you doing nothing, but want to inflict the idea on the forumites? Hell, just post here!

Heh, awesome! Saturdays are the day we always get together to roleplay, so I guess we're celebrating by default. (Although, admittedly, at the current moment we're running a d20 game, not D&D specifically... )

And I remember seeing that Flash movie a while back... it is indeed funny.

Peace & Luv, Liz

"I like the idea of Oompa Loompa Elementals."

I really should log in to Messenger again, to see if we can finally start our game...

I hope they haven't started without me. I couldn't come, because I was very busy...

I'm not personally doing anything for D&D day. I lent my Forgotten Realms collection to my brother, and thus have no D&D games that I'm able to play atm...

Or we could watch the D&D movie.

I've heard it's terrible. Terrible enough to get a laugh out of it?

My brother loved it (for being really, really bad). I refused to watch ...

Like this?

God, I love that comic (This is one of the early ones...the fourth strip, to be exact. The art improved a lot since then.).

I heard that as a wave file a couple of years ago, did it start as a flash movie or was the movie made later. I didn't have the musical number at the end when I first heard it.

I saw it. It was worse. So bad it was good again. It had everything: A scene where somebody fell to his knees screaming "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" *cue the camera stuff*, oh and the funny guy dies first (and thus induces the Noooo).

Don't forget the different coloured dragons... and the terrible special effects... and the lame acting...
