True. I just don't see the point in buying games and never playing them, though (especially as I never, ever sell my games).

I don't see the point either, but I'm not a 'real' collector. I opened a sealed box of Indiana Jones FOA that I purchased on Ebay as well. Just to check out the contents. The advantage of buying sealed games is the perfect state of the box, and FOA has great boxart.

In all the talking about Discworld, I looked for the game on eBay. I loved the screen shots so I bid on it and won it yesterday.

Guy at my work has just bought a car on EBay.

A BMW I think.

He has to go to Plymouth to pick it up and drive it back to Scotland ,but he said it was a good deal.

One delightfully unsealed copy of Realms of the Haunting is now in my sweaty mitts:

Now I just need to sort out the skipping video problem that loads of people have, get the thing running at a fair lick in DOSBox and I'm sorted .

I'm sure if you are that deperate for one there are probably some discrete mail order companies you can try.

Or maybe join an Ann Summers Party.

Or mold your own. Sculpt what you want in modeling clay, make a negative mold out of plaster of paris (two-piece molds are best), pour in some molten latex, unmold it, and viola!

I'm almost afraid to ask, but what is an "Anne Summers Party"?

It like a tupperware party except that they sell skimpy ladies underwear and sex toys instead of plastic boxes that keep your food fresh.

The salesperson organises a party at someones house where a group of women get together and peruse the outfits and naughty items and buy them.

I imagine that it is a group of stunnig females sitting around and modelling the sexy underwear, demonstrating how the toys are used on each other, loads of kissing, one thing leads to another then.............................................. ..........................................

...AHem where was I

......

Look! The thread derailed into tales of lesbian orgies, and it wasn't me!

Ah, Lucien, I have groomed thee well.

Mmm, lesbians.

I got Amber: Journies Beyond from ebay after searching for it for ages, but it doesn't work on XP (tried checking on net if it would run before buying, but couldn't find any info). Argh!

Found some good horror DVDs on there too, like Ju-On, Three Extremes, etc.

Hard to decide what on was my best eBay purchase.

It would probably be one of these games:

- Wing Commander 3 Collectors Edition, with T-shirt and a bonus cd with making of featurette, all packed in a film can.
- Star Wars - Jedi Knight2: Jedi Outcast Special Edition (T-shirt, metal box)
- Discworld 2 with T-Shirt Included
- Star Trek - Judgment Rites - Collectors Edition
