Are You Stressed?
Stress? Heh. I thrive on it, sometimes. But usually, life is boring. How 'bout you?

One thing that I've found to really help me deal with stress is jogging. Going for a nice run really helps me clear my mind. If you're feeling a bit over-stressed, it's something I'd really recommend.

OCD is a very diverse disorder. It's not just a neat freak thing. It's dwelling on things that you're worried about and worring way too much. Causes a lot of stress.

Whenever I'm stressed I lay down a few reps on the bench press. Problem solved!

Yeah, I'm stressed a little, but less so than earlier this month. I'm a bit more on top of things right now, and I'm starting to get interested in my senior project.
I've noticed that little things really annoy and/or stress me, like clutter in my room. And spending too much time reading forums. |

I´m a little stressed because of my school, don´t know if I will continue in that school..If i´m stressed I usually go out for a long walk in the woods, that helps for me...

God, grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And wisdom to know the difference. Saying that prayer to the deity of one's choice can help to de-stress. I personally prefer meditation for dealing with stress, but I realize that's not to everyone's taste. Self-hypnosis goes very well with meditation, but also has more detractors than devotees. ScottMate

I think everyone who is born into this world has to deal with some type of streesed every now and then. I am stress most of the time, just trying to deal with the world and those who lived in it.
I am happy tho, so that counts for something. |

I had no idea OCD was like that, too.

I'm pretty stressed at the moment, with my final year and all the work involved, combined with being on a corridor of freshers (not as bad as I thought it may be, granted, but I still have to ask them to be quiet quite alot) and technically being in a different country to my boyfriend ... Plus stress over my student loan, and not too helpful people at the advice centre, and I'm pretty stressed. I'm fairly happy though, and know that soon, this year will be over, I'll hopefully have a decent degree to show for my efforts, and, best of all, I won't be hundreds of miles away from my bf!

I've learned to control stress slightly better lately, though.

when i'm stressed i drink some alcohol, stick some really heavy rock music on like metallica or head automatica (disco rock) then wallow in my sorrows untill i feel better. it works somehow, probably cause i end up writing poems all night. weird.

I can't believe how unbelievably stressed I am. My wedding is in one week. My parents and family are all coming in a few days to crash in our tiny one-bedroom condo. I have three articles due today for work and I have to prep and then go to a colonoscopy conference for work next week (I mean I can't think of a more romantic thing to be doing right before my wedding than a colonoscopy conference, can you ).
I'm worried about my grandmother in Texas who isn't doing all that well (although I just heard that she's doing a little better), and I worry about my little sis who hates her job. My family tends to tell me all their worries, since I don't freak out externally, but I do get stressed, even if I don't show it. I've been exercising a lot (which is helping with my stress about not losing weight for the wedding ), but mostly it's just a waiting game. If I can just make it throught to next Friday, it'll all be good.
