Back from my hols!!!!
Hi guys!
I know you probably didnt even realise I was gone but I've just returned from an amazing trip to Prague, to visit my brother I know it was only for 10 days but I feel like a total stranger here now, so rather than read through thousands of posts, if anyone feels like taking a few minutes to update me in the latest gossip, I will be most appreciative

Hey, yeah! Drunkenness! Did you go to the oldest brewery in Europe, the one I've mentioned? What else have you seen?

Unfortunately we didnt quite manage that! I was only there for 9 days, and my brother was working for some of that time, so he wanted to show me some of the more historical and cultural places. He told me about the brewery because he went there with his girlfriend when he first arrived in Prague But we did go to some very interesting places - Wenceslas square, the cathedral, Strahov Monastery and art gallery, Karlstejhn Castle, Vysscherrad Fortress, the Kafka Museum, the Mucha Museum, Charles Bridge, a really cool beer garden that overlooks the whole of Prague, the Television Tower which has sculptures of giant babies climbing up and down it, and the Astronomical Clock(which was annoyingly undergoing construction!). Apart from these tourist attractions, we went to a few bars not generally frequented by tourists - these places were so cool, everyone was very friendly and the beer was the cheapest and most enjoyable that I have ever tasted! In one bar we paid 14 Czech crowns for a pint of beer, which translates to approximately 30pence!!! You cant really go wrong with that!!

I certainly did! The days were spent making long treks around places of interest, and the nights were well spent getting drunk on very cheap but very tasty Czech beer

The spiced rum and the cake look very appealing, but the red rum just freaks me out! Reminds me of "The Shining", which is never a good thing
