Default Help Wanted: Animator

Hello one and all,
I'm speaking on behalf of ForeverDream Studios, currently developing a noir adventure entitled "The Curves of Danger", for release in 2004. We are currently interested in hiring an animator for character animation on this project. We need your help! This adventure is about the Adventure Gamers site and forums itself, will feature many of you as characters, with some creative license taken in creating a noir atmosphere.

If there's anyone interested, or if you know of anyone who could help, please drop me a line at [email protected]

Thanks.

I hope I'm accurately represented as the sensitive but strong neurosurgeon who's famously rich, generous to the poor, ends up saving the world and is incredibly handsome.

I have cash.

I can't animate at all, but I wish you good luck with finding someone

tabacco: I wanted to ask what program you would reccomend to use for animating.

Btw, a great example of well done animations is Apprentice, and also the Ignac trailer, which are marvelous

Animators arent the easiest people to find. I cant say that the job is difficult, but it really is time consuming. My piece of advice is: DIY.

The project has gone on too long for us to start on the animation ourselves, we want to get some one in if possible. Animators are very, very thin on the ground though.

I'm interested, but I have too little time I'm afraid. I can't even work much on my own game

Sad thing is Maniac Entertainment isn't back up yet and I haven't found a single place where we could download that

Yes, the ignactrailer is simply stunning. Brilliant animation, Igor really knows what he's doing.

People on this forum will be featured as characters in the game?

Sorry for offtopiccing this thread, but where is the Ignac page? I don't think I've seen the trailer yet -- only the original two room demo.

It was http://maniac.adventuredevelopers.com , but since lfnetwork went broken, it hasn't been available...

EDIT: Although the front page is down, http://maniac.adventuredevelopers.com/trailer.htm still works, you can find the trailer there...

I believe I heard Igor say that he isn't going to put up his old website until his new design is ready.
