Got to love that title. :-) How metaphysical is it?

Interesting stuff.
Front page FF material, and I see you got the AGS game of the month highlight as well.

This was one of the first freeware titles I've played in ages, and it was downright stunning. It has a very "Gabriel Knight" feel to it, but manages to push its subject matter into a much more darker and mature setting. The dark monochromatic atmosphere feels just right for its story. Very heavy on the drama and controversy, but it's all handled very well, and even manages to share a few lighthearted moments.
All in all, a very cinematic experience. There are many story-related puzzles, interesting characters, and it's never too impossible. There's a particular action sequence I'm very fond of that seems lifted right out of a movie halfway through the game that I think is worth the download alone. Very recommended for older audiences. |

This thread deserves a bump! Iv played through the first few chapters now and this is a pretty amazing freeware game. Definitely has a very GK1 vibe. The creator has made alot of wise design decisions, and the story has a great sense of depth. This is easily one of the best freeware games iv ever played (and i probably still have a ways to go).

Finished!! What a game. The story is a bit rough around the edges, and the visuals obviously arent perfect... but it was such a fantastic game... and my current frontrunner for best adventure of this year (yep, thats versus studio releases).
I was wondering if anyone had figured out... Spoiler:

Thank you, Zane and Datadog -- you are very generous.
As for Zane's question... I don't know, I've never guessed the password myself. |
