AG Underground Awards

As you all know, Dave, AGA, and I have decided on the nominations for our first annual AG Underground Awards, and will be making our decisions on the winners later this month.

We're making this decision between the three of us; however, I'd like to get some feedback from our loyal Underground readers on what nominated games you think are the most deserving of the trophies. If the three of us have trouble deciding between two games, reader feedback could be the deciding factor.

So please read the nominations and share any and all thoughts you have. Thanks!

The only ones I've played are Apprentice, The Breakdown, and half of Out of Order and I have to hand it to them - they're all excellent games.

That said, the only award I feel *really* strong about is the Best Sound/Music award which I think Apprentice deserves.

Maybe even the Graphics award...

There really is no competition about the graphics award imo. Anyway, the music of apprentice is rather repetitive for my taste. I'd really like to see the uncertainty machine get something, unlike in some other awards.

Personally, I'd put it like this:

Best Game: The Uncertainty Machine
Best Graphics: Apprentice
Best Sound/Music: Apprentice
Best Story: Close call between 5 Days and Apocolypse Meow. I think in the clutch I'd have to give it to Meow.
Best Writing: 5 Days
