Seems terrific !

Memory ???
I played Indy & Last Crusade about 17 years ago when I was a youngster of only 64½ y.o. ........ or was it Indy Atlantis 3 years later ??

Forgotten how to punch the Nazi guard ... as needed very near to the beginning of your demo!!

Instructions needed ASAP please !

If it's similar to Last Crusade, then you have to use the, uh, numbers on the right of your keyboard.
As if, if you're standing on the left of the nazi, 9 to punch him in the face, 6 to punch him the stomach, and 3 to punch him in the groin.
And IIRC, 7, 4, 1 are used to block.

~~ Hey NINTH ~~
THANKS !!!

I CERTAINLY didn't remember that, & I doubt that I would have ever guessed it.
As it is, I KO'd the Nazi first time ... in a very few seconds. I THINK I used the "9" only (or maybe with a couple of intermittent jabs with the "6" also ??)

Once again .... MANY THANKS.

ATB ... Len.

There's also an instruction manual in the zip-file with the demo that explains the fighting sequences.

~~ Cellardoor ~~

I NEVER waste my (fairly precious) time writing for help on a Forum without checking all files first!!

Unzipping the download yields (Demo ver 2.1) ..................
winsetup.exe .......... IndyCoS.exe .......... acsetup.cfg .......... music.vox

NONE OF THESE CONTAINS ANY MANUAL !!

I know for certain that the version I downloaded yesterday didn't have such instructions though

agreed. instructions weren't there the first time (though i eventually figured it out). glad to see that you added the skippable intro -- that was driving me NUTS when i dl'd the first demo. One quick comment: perhaps "bar control" should be changed to "gate control"? Just mho.

One quick question too:

Spoiler:
After you get to the airport, is it possible to get back to the gate? I forgot the idol and the airman's uniform the first time I went through and kept getting caught at the air field.

Nice work though, I'm really looking forward to this.

Hi!
I am glad you all liked the demo. I have added an instruction file with the new demo. In the full version I will fix so you can go bak if you forget something.

I have a similar question;

Spoiler:
Is it even possible to advance the game after going to the airport? There doesn't appear to be anything I can do.

Have you gotten onto the airfield yet?

Spoiler:
If you keep getting caught by the guards at the airport, you need a different disguise. You also need to put back an inventory item that you took from its proper place.

Ah, so I had to put back the wire. I must say I liked the demo, but it could do with a little less illogical puzzles: The wire puzzle comes to mind, as well as the flag with the silver key, or the candle-stick lever...

^^I highly disagree with that. I love the puzzles, for once I am actually STUCK in a new adventure game! If it's a true homage to the original, it has to be hard.

This game is SICK. Hell yeah, that guy really made it very true to the original. He just needs to correct some English, a couple minor things, and it's perfect!

The demo was good but I didnt like how

Spoiler:
You couldnt pick up the uniform by actualy trying to pick it up, you knew it was the uniform you needed but you had to "Look at it" to pick it up

Actually, I found the puzzles to be relatively easy. As I said before, I think some of them are illogical, but never too hard. But ofcourse, ultimately it all boils down to a matter of taste and opinion.

Demo was fun. Havent played an indy game since 2001. Odd though theres 100 iq points to be earned and only 91 is acheived at the end of game. I wonder if that strange object with no name (the red waving flag in the airport) has anything to do with it. Hmmm.
