The Game That Takes Place on a Cruise Ship
Well, folks, I've just released The Game That Takes Place on a Cruise Ship. Check it out and play it to your heart's content, especially if you're a big fan of Cubert Badbone and my other creations. (And even if you aren't, well, check it out anyway!)

And it's a good game, too!
Disclaimer: I was a beta tester of TGTTPOACS.

Better or worse than Frasse and the Peas of Kejick?
(I don't expect you to answer that)

Never played your other games Squinks, but I'm downloading this one now.
(PS: I was annoyed that before the game was available that there were no screenshots available for the game anyay... er, well, at least none that I could find...)

Yeah, I purposely didn't release very much promotional material for the game because, well, would you rather I spent my time working on the game, or taking screenshots?

After a considerable diet of heavy, solemn, serious, Quest/Adventures, “The Game that takes place on a Cruise Ship (TGttpoaCS)” is a breath of fresh air.
It’s a funny even frivolous game featuring the adventures of a young lady, Gertrude Zzyrgenhymer, and her free trip on board the ‘luxury’ cruise ship S.S. Asylum. A refreshing innovation to this original humorous game is the fact that there are not simply 4 endings, but 4 distinctly different routes, each one ending in a full zany end sequence ... so this is really 4 separate games (almost) rolled into one! The puzzles are easy, but still can cause some head scratching (one or two DID even with experienced beta-testers!) If needed/wanted, the first half of a very detailed walkthrough is posted on http://www.gamesover.com/walkthrough...GreenWT_1A.htm. The full walkthrough will replace this in 2 to 3 days time. ADDENDUM :- Of course I forgot to mention that the game is freeware and its whole download size is only 20 MB. Last edited by Len Green; 03-15-2006 at 02:51 PM. |

FINITO.
It took rather longer than anticipated, due to the (partial) interlocking of the 4 different routes/games/endings! http://www.gamesover.com/walkthrough...alkthrough.htm |

I'm enjoying it immensely; the one (almost inherent) problem is that the first part (which I'm playing now) feels very directionless. I literally have nothing to do; now I've explored the ship, solved a few puzzles and got lots of inventory it seems I have nowhere left to explore or goals to attain. Other than that, this is great fun; funky soundtrack, appealing cartoon graphics, funny touches. Not the most inspired name for a game ever conceived, though.
