I dunno, man. I've played some of it (Xbox version). There's a lot of heavy swordfighting and stats and resource management. It may contain 'all' the elements of the adventure genre but it also contains a huge amount of elements of the RPG genre, don't forget that.

You are given excellent opportunities to explore and interact with everyone, but that may be where it ends in adventure game similarities, at least according to adventure fans' arbitrary criteria.
