Roper Klacks = Christopher Lloyd (with the Hairdo from the "Back to the Future")
He'd also make a good Uncle Andrew in the Narnia movie with that hairdo (and the general Mad Scientist thing) -

I can think of another adventure game star that Christopher Lloyd is a dead ringer for but thats too easy.

I used to think that Larry Laffer really ought to be portrayed in the movies by Jon Lovitz. (I think Jon is looking a little gray and paunchy to play the role these days.)

Maybe it's just me but George and Nico from the first Broken Sword resembled David and Victoria Beckham back in 1998/99.

Larry Laffer is clearly based on the sleazy next door neighbour Larry from Three's Company.

Lol, maybe, but I think it wouldn't be perfect, because you can't really see Fred's eyes (come to think of it, there are quite a lot of characters whose eyes you can't see...Hoagie, Dr. Fred, Ed, Bernard, Ted, the Tentacles, etc.). It just wouldn't be the same, because Lloyd seems to act with his eyes a lot. -

Hmmm...
George Stobbart - Matthew McConaughey Nico Collard - Juliette Binoche Gabriel Knight - Matthew McConaughey Grace Nakimura - Tamlyn Tomita (Joy Luck Club) or Ming-Na (who I think did the voice acting for the character Aki Ross in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within)

April Ryan - Scarlet Johansen (more for her performance than whether she actually looks like the game character)
Kate Walker - Angelina Jolie (a long shot, yes, but I think she can deliver a great, subdued performance)

I think McConaughey might be better as GK rather than Stobbart.
So... Manny Calavera? You guessed it. Skeletor! But seriously, a younger Franka Potente as April Ryan. |

I've only played GK3 and BS 1 & 2, so maybe I don't know the game characters so well.
George Stobbart seemed a bit gawky. McConaughey's acting would probably fit better as a guy with playful swagger like Gabe. In terms of looks, Gabe also seemed a bit more macho than George. And Matthew -is- kinda beefy. |
