If Sierra had casted him back in GK3, I would have definitely hated GK3 less...

I'm really not so sure - although I enjoyed Mark Hamill as Mosely, I found David Thomas in GK3 more endearing.
I think it was just the way he would say "Knight! you wanker!" in that southern drawl

Plus, I don't know what David Thomas looks like, but when I realisd Mark Hamill was playing Mosely I just couldn't picture him as the overweight slovenly detective

I don't know but I laughed at almost every line that Mark Hamill had delivered to curse Gabe. In GK3, I don't think I had laughed once when he was cursing Gabe

I think the main reason I preferred the GK3 Mosely was because that was the first game in the series that I played and it will always hold a special place in my heart

I really don't think there's much between them - both have amusing conversations with Gabe, but one of the problems I had with GK1 was the poor visuals - you really couldn't make out peoples faces very well so I think that made the relationship between me and Mosely weaker than in GK3

David Thomas really nailed Mosely. I thought Mark Hamill tried too hard to read the lines against certain expectations regarding tone of voice, emphasis and so on. Thomas did the character with more flair and self-confidence.

To tell you the truth, I refused to listen to GK1 with the voices on, because good GOD Gabe's voice irked me. I never even played any of the GK sequels, but I'm going to stick with the cool kids and say Mark Hamill.

Despite the fact that I have no basis for an opinion.

Mark Hamill sounded completely artificial. Or maybe not articifual enough. Of course, I played GK3 before GK1.

I think the biggest reason I hated Mosely in Gabriel Knight 3 is that he looked really bad. But then all the chracters looked bad in Gabriel Knight 3. Mosely is just more mishapen than the rest.

So I can't really judge because I'm more of a visual person. He looked cool in Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers.

I thought he was decent in GK1 but listen to him in GK3, you'll rather want to kill yourself
