Prospects looking bleak for A Vampyre Story 2

Since "Wherefore no AVS2?" is something that I imagine a few folks have been thinking and news has been hard to come by, I thought I'd spread this. Apparently the game faces cancellation without an investor.

It might be cancelled, OR in the worst case scenario - it will collect dust for couple of years until another company takes it over and legal thing settles down, like with The Whispered World or The Book of Unwritten Tales.

I say this because ultimately much will depend on Bill Tiller and AME. And honestly, announcing both AVS prequels and AVS 2 at the same time hadn't really seemed promising from the get go.
