Default So Blonde 2? (Not 'Back to the Island')

I'm sorry if there's already a thread like this on the go, I'm really bad at searching for things forums.

A short time ago I heard there was a sequel to So Blonde in the works and I heard this after I heard about the DS/Wii version. (I think a friend told me IRL). I know it was after because I thought to myself how I hadn't even played the alternate endings of the original, let alone the alternative story.

So today I finally got around to playing the alternate endings of the original (I only just found my copy of the game) and will play the other version..... probably when the recession lighten's up.

When I'm done with that is there another game in the series to play or (as I now suspect, having done a few quick searches) have I been grossly misinformed?

Moving this to the adventure forum. AG's database doesn't list a sequel and it would if this had been formally announced.

It's not a sequel per se, but yes, there's a new game from that same world apparently in the works called Captain Morgane. There have been no formal announcements, though, nor any indication of an English language release.

So a spin-off, then... I get why they wouldn't have gone for a sequel, with the alternative endings leaving speculation as to
Spoiler:
whether or not the whole game was just some coma hallucination drawing from the book her father was reading to her or if Sonny had really experienced the things she'd seen....
So, unless this game is the same story from a different character's perspective, this would be either about Captain Morgane before Sonny's arrival, before
Spoiler:
One-eye's curse
or after the events of the first game, that would mean
Spoiler:
it wasn't a coma hallucination or a book of her father's; the whole thing was real.
Taking that into consideration there's no reason why they can't pick an ending from the origingal, declare "This Is What Happened" and have a 'So Blonde 2' that picks up from there.

It says October 2011 now. =O

I can't actually remember Captain Morgane's role in So Blonde, but it was a fun game nonetheless, so a sequel sounds potentially promising.

DS, yes. 3DS specifically, no. Plus PC, Wii, and PS3.

First trailer out, by the way.
