nope. tearing out the heart might be a little more literally than metaphorically

the heart itself though, may be a metaphor that does a similar job

Oh yeah, Wonkers!!
I loved him, and you're so right. He will be your best friend, no matter what. <3 In the game, I always make sure to return his heart to him before the end. lol

Haha of course, it's Wonkers, not Bonkers!
This next character is the epitome of the word "adventure"... but don't let that fool you! |

Nope! Never played that game unfortunately.
This character might have the reputation for being an adventurer, but he's actually a huge wimp. |

He does match the description you gave just though. BTW, I don't recommend the second Runaway game, I really didn't like it but I loved the others.
How about Ambrosius from Ceville?

Hehe thanks for the warning!
About your recent guess, sorry I haven't played Ceville yet either! My clues have been too vague. This character is a celebrity in the game world he lives in. But being famous doesn't mean you're above the law (as he finds out). |

This character likes to light up a good cigar, but he's also handy at extinguishing fires.

Everybody's different anyway. BTW I'm pretty sure the third was my favourite though it did have some faults, one being that it was really short.
