That sounds like the shop owner from Quest for Glory IV.

Sorry I'm late!
Ok ,how about...

He falls and he is dead, but he is brought back to life, then he dies again, but in the end he is alive again, (yes, this time for good!) but he is much more older.
THE END!

(creepy, disturbing and much nonsense ain't it?)

I bet it's Ludger Brink from The Dig. That lengthy description is a "dead" giveaway!

Here's an easy one, just to keep the game going:

Silver tongue

Oops, not so easy, I guess. Another hint for this character (since I don't want the thread to slip into page 2 ):
From fugitive slave... to general

I think most people would have resorted to Google at this stage! Just search for "silver tongue", "fugitive", "slave" and "general" all together, and one certain game title should pop up. Hope that helps!

Yes, it's Spendius, the player-character from Salammbo.

So please go ahead and provide a new clue for a new character... so I won't have to anymore! (I hope it doesn't hurt too much for you to type in your fragile condition! )

(I type with my right hand, and my left one is in the cast).

Okay, here's a hopefully easy one: The clueless gentleman.

I don't know why but i'm thinking of the main character in Cruise for a Corpse?

Also, there's a great Sherlock Holmes comedy movie "Without a Clue" but i' guessing it's not Sherlock.

Nope, I said it was easy.

I saw that movie, it was hilarious. But no, it's not Sherlock...(You're close).
