Default The Real Saxton Returns!

Hi all,
I recently made a return trip to Cornwall to visit the locations used for The Lost Crown. To add my series of videos detailing the locations from a few months back, I have now released a new video with shots of locations I missed (Bob's Workshop interior etc.), places that were being repaired last time (Northfield Church) and also other stuff that served as an inspiration for Jonathan, or was just plain creepy.
The new video can be obtained from my website: http://www.tomrbaynham.com/
It is also tied into my podcast feed, so you can get it via iTunes (other media software is available) by searching for The Investigative Author.
I also managed to get high-res photos, with my new DSLR, of practically everything. I have photos of the new locations up already on Flickr, and I will be adding photos of other bits and pieces over the next few days, so do keep checking. My Flickr feed is:

Tell the truth, you are trying to make me die of envy, aren't you?
Several trips! How disrespectful to those of us who haven't managed to organize one single trip yet!

Many thanks for the update! It's always a pleasure to watch your video. You did a fine job, as usual.

I'm very glad to see the interior of the workshop. It's a sinister looking place, even in broad daylight. I'm trying to imagine what would it look like at night with lit furnace. The Northfield Church site is really beautiful place. I've particulary liked the contrast between the greenery and the stone. I guess that gloomy day gave the scene that optimal lighting. It's interesting that inside the curch it's actually seems brighter at moments, as if it was a sunny day outside... At, least, it seemed to me that way. The Ulcombe Church part was a real treat. The live organ music was the icing on a cake. BTW, I'm glad that you again didn't forgot to add a touch of humor, here and there.

Thanks again! I guess that is a benefit of living in the same country as the sites. I would love to go to Sweden for the Carol Reed locations, and Germany for the Gabriel Knight 2 locations!

terhardp: Northfield/Duloe is one of my favourite places, especially as it is more inland from the busy tourist villages, with several locations (church, stone circle, well, woods, northfield junction) all close by. Strange though, it was overcast that day but the light is always bright through the windows.

As for the organ music at Ulcombe/Talland, that was a pleasant surprise. Despite the music supposedly being for a wedding, I thought that tune got very dark!

Having seen the video, I must add that I'm somewhat disappointed by the lack of symbolic-images-or-ancient-graffiti in the Looe beach cavern.

Jokes aside, thanks for providing new material. It's always exciting!

Sea creatures? Stalactites? A possible lead?

Lots more photos online now, with Raven Lane/Carrion Wood going up now.

Haha, I should think so.
Next stop, Nor... mandy?

I'm not sure if they're new or not, but I'm loving the pictures of the Net Store.

But here's a challenge for your next trip. I dare you to knock at the door of Studio Cottage and ask its denizens if they know anything about a possible ghost infestation of their beloved cottage.

Yep, the photostream shows the latest photos. In each set the newer photographs are at the end of the set. Raven Lane is up now, and Ager/Karswell House is trickling along nicely.
There are quite a few of my other sets that show locations from Bracken Tor and The Last Crown but I'll let you guess about which until Jonathan/Matt release more information
I think Studio Cottage is a holiday home now. I shall have a look and see. Perhaps I can book it for a holiday!
