I Need Serious Help finding this game.
Alright, This is Going to Be EXTREMELY difficult to find, so i need some EXPERT help finding this game.
All i know that is has "Quest" or some sort of name like that in it. Its a computer game made between 1988-1999 Because i was born in 1992, and im not sure if it was made prior to when i was born or after, I remember playing it when i was 5,6, or 7, It was one of those ages, So either 1997,1998,1999 one of those. this is parts i remember of the game. I remember being a girl, a princess i believe trying to regain her throne, but a goblin prince took her and kept her inside his underground cave. Then i remember being an old woman fighting off a Gigantic lizard in a cave, but it was actually really good graphics for being a 2d game, it was almost 3d. then i remember being the girl again and walking along a road and some monster grabbing me and throwing me into a spiderweb while these kids laughed and the spider came closer and closer until it ate you. And their was this part, i cant remember who you were, but your in a city and everyone is complaining saying "The Sky Is Falling!, The sky is falling!!" and you have to figure a way to show them that their is no way the sky is falling to get passed the gate or something. This game was for the computer, Im not sure but it may be made by Sierra games, but i dont think so, Because i know the game is not called Kings Quest, its something different, if i can figure out what this game is i will be real happy. I just feel that if i dont find out what this game is, and if i dont ever get ahold of it to beat it, ill feel that i messed up and never got the chance to beat this really awesome game. Please help me out people, if you can. If you find the game and happen to come across a copy of it in alright condition, ill buy the game off you in cash. |

It's definitely King's Quest VII "The Princeless Bride". You play mother and daughter

Most definitely King's Quest VII.. That's the only game with a "quest" in it that has a girl protagonist

I wouldn't say he's attempting to troll. Maybe just looking for some attention. I havn't seen such an accurate description of such an obvious game. Either way, I love these games. I just never check fast enough to provide the answer before you guys.
I'd like to welcome him to the board.

Yeah, definitely sounds like the poster didn't need such "serious" help after all.
But it might just be that he underestimated how famous the game is. Edit: Oh well, I didn't read his whole post before... Last edited by ozzie; 08-20-2010 at 05:50 PM. |

You can get this game in the King's Quest collection that was re-released a few years ago:

Also remember The Colonel's Bequest, a game with a female protagonist (Laura Bow) and the word "Quest" in the title.
