A bit of praise to Tierra Entertainment from Tycho:

LMAO! The comic is brilliance.

I'm sure Tierra's servers are going to get hammered now. That always happens when they link to a site.

Penny Arcade is Godly. So that makes anyone working at Tierra Saints or popes or something, I guess. I dunno, haven't even tried the original Quest for Glory for more than 5 minutes, so I'll have to check out what they've been doing....

It's my favourite webcomic. Heck, it's my favourite comic across all the comic-genres of comics. Err, yeah.

Anyway, good for Tierra. More publicity.

I actually don't like the comic itself as much as their commentary. Especially Tycho's writing is hilarious, but also very intelligent and relevant. Great site.

Don't tell me you didn't laugh the first time you read that, Marek.

But I agree, the commentary is at least 50% of the Penny Arcade Experience.

This is my all-time favorite, mostly for personal reasons:

Any mockery of McDonald's makes me laugh, cause I work there, so the newest strip made me laugh out loud.

I also liked the new talk bubble style.

Yes, they seem to have been making some subtle style changes over the last few weeks. (Looks like we've managed to hijack yet another thread, eh?)

I think it's excellent that PA has mentioned Tierra. I've been reading PA for a good four years now, and it never seemed like they were as familiar with the classic adventure games of old. They have waxed nostalgic about countless old strategy games and action games and platform games and what have you, but it makes me happy to know that Tycho, at least, recognizes the amazing contributions adventure made to the gaming world. Introducing new gamers to projects like Tierra's will only increase the appreciation and memory of that great era of gaming.

My favorite PA comic is, and will probably always be, the claw shrimp one. it's just so random and hilarious. I love it.

Oh man, oh man, oh man, Claw Shrimp. I read that specific PA comic at least a few times a month. Very few things I read online make me laugh out loud, but that one manages to do so fairly often. It's probably not my favorite PA of all time, but mad props to Egarthen for that post.

Penny-arcade is real good, but it's not SO good as

Sluggy Freelance

THIS is superb. And it 99% funny, so funny you fell from your chair (it's not 100% game reffering)

Good, but not really relevent to AG. You're right, it's not 100% game-oriented, it's more like 1%. Great strip, though.

The current PA (wednesdays) about McDonalds is pretty gold, especially in the recent sea of not-so-good ones. PA is my friend. Also they linked to Mojo once so they're doubly acceptable.

Hmm, right before it horribly crashed, if I remember right. And I hear that PA is huge in South America and among incompetent hosting companies.

Anyway, on a less paranoid note, today's non-gaming comic is one of the best in recent memory. The words are funny, but what makes it great are the expressions on their faces in the last panel.

Duck cocks can suck my cock. It's all about Mayor McCheese.

(I know we're supposed to be light on the profanity thing, but since we're talking about duck cocks to begin with, I figured I could take a little liberty.)
