Just thought I would treat you nice guys to a small teaser for our upcoming independent game.

Shades of Violet is an episodic series of games that tells the life adventure of two sibling orphans growing in a Steampunk World.

A traditional Adventure game with a twist. Use the power of the blue flow to unearth secrets from the world around you, and use that hidden knowledge to prevail! Travel the globe along the Vendetta Family, the most powerful military force in the world!

It is a story of growth, from children to adult, and from innocence to knowing, the two will find what it means to live in a world without end.

A Better trailer and proper preview in a week or so! What do you think?

that's why they call them teasers. we'll be revealing a longer one, along with the gamepage soon too. So don't fret.

Looks good, have you never thought of maybe releasing them commercially instead? Seems a lot of time and effort just for freeware

We're planning to release it properly. Yup, It's a lot of effort for being free. But It's not like we're going to charge much anyway.

Ah, this particular board is aimed at freeware, so that would be where the confusion lies.

Oooh. Since it just said Underground/amateur I thought Indy (even commercial Indy) was ok. Now, what do we do Mr. Moderator? do I delete the thread? I certainly don't want to irk anyone.

I'm glad it's not freeware tbh it looks really good I look forward to it, making it freeware wouldn't do it justice. Personally I prefer games in full as opposed to episodic but I guess we'll just have to deal with it lol.

Never would of seen this thread if it wasn't for the move. Saw this over at AGS. Looks absolutely great. I love the direction and textures for the models. As good if not better than the Kingdom Hearts models. Which might I say were really nice modeling work.

I'm really looking forward to this game.
