Default Evil Days Of Luckless John - is it fun?

I noticed this game long time ago and thought it looked interesting. I have not seen many movies and can´t find a demo. I am wondering what people who are playing this game think about it. Is it similar to other games for example. I saw that there is a sequel coming next year so if this game is fun then the next game might be worth getting too. But since there is so little info about this game that I have found I wanted to get the info here from people that play the game. Didn´t this game also have another name once maybe it was a working title.

It was originally called Raiders of the Lost Casino.

It's a pain. A mix of different genres, none of them playable or entertaining.

Are the controls really that bad? I just saw that it will be released here soon and the gameplay-video looked really promising.

Things like that are bound to be subjective.

But if you do get the game, don't say I didn't warn you when you desperately try to turn that damn tractor and it keeps crashing left and right on the rocks...

I got this game and are probably two thirds finished.

Sadly, the above hints are true for the most part. The game tries hard to give you many differant 'game experiences' - from point and click item + platforming puzzles, talking to people to find out stuff , 3D stealth sequences, driving, shooting, some parts of game non-linear - but its all very mashed up and sadly none of the parts of the game are particularly entertaining; nor is the story very well told.

However, it does have a charm to it & the makers clearly put lots of effort into it; most likely with little time or budget - tho it has kept me playing for about 6 hours so I suppose that's better than most games I can't recommend it at full price but its worth a look if cheap. ;p
