Default Eric the Unready

I'm playing this game finally after all these years using DOSBOX and VDMSound. I got it to work last nite thought tonight I'm not sure exactly how and which program I used to get it to function correctly.

Anyways, has anyone played this? So far, it's pretty hilarious.

One of my favorite games, and one of the rare games that I play through at least once a year...

Defenetly one of the best and most funny adventures ever. Also one of (if not the) best adventures by Legend. Too bad very little people today have played all these great titles by Legend, like Erick the Unready, Gateway, TimeQuest... Other way they won't call...some other modern or well known games the best of the best. *Sigh*

Hmmm, I couldn't get used to the weird interface of this game, but it's indeed got great humor. I love comedy in games.

It's one of the top 10 adventure games of all time, IMHO. (I might have to count as bad as Murray Peterson to get it on my top ten, but if that's what it takes, so be it. )

my god you guys have me excited to play! Now I shall pop open dosbox again and play tonight!

What specifically did you guys like about the game? Why was it a top 10?

I am pretty much "typing" the whole rather than using the mouse interface. It's just much quicker for me to type. Using the mouse in these earlier Legend games doesn't feel quite right.

LESS TASTE!

MORE FILLING!

Just like it was yesterday. Wow, thanks for the memories.

Agreed that this is an excellent game. It even has a puzzle sequence in the same vein as Hitchhiker's 'Babel fish' puzzle, but more entertaining IMO.

A couple of things to try typing during the first quest...

Spoiler:
...with the pig. "Eat shit", and "F**k pig". Hee hee .

Where can I get a copy of that game? My dad used to have it back when he had a 486 computer and I loved it. He gave it away though.

Burge, you can get it online..I actually don't know if I am allowed to mention the site though(Although this game is indeed legal to download there are some things on the site I mention that might be a grey area and if I remember right that is why AG does not allow people to link to it in public.) Just search for the game on google.

Very funny, good and though puzzles, very much like an epic story with exotic locations and characters...
It's a great game, bu not my favorite Legend game.
I guess it's not in my top 10, but it must be on my top 20.
