I just got the SQ one for £11 at HMV, I must say that its quite nice to have a collection like this where when u feel like a space quest game you just click on the icon (you dont even need the CD to play any of the games) and not having to fiddle for a few hours on getting the darn thing to work, SQ4 particularly.

Thanks for the tip. I'd been eyeing these on Amazon for months, actually. $19.98 for both games, plus free shipping, just put me over the top!

I totally don't need these. But I'm going to get them anyway.
I don't have a complete Space Quest collection (just some of the individual games, and some of those are on floppies) so that's good. As for King's Quest, I do have one of the collections already, and I know this collection is nothing special, so there's really no need for this. Except it's King's Quest related, and I can't help myself. |

I guess the only way of showing Sierra/VU that we're interested still in these games is to buy them, they respond to sales figures, not pesty fans emailing them.

Leisure Suit Larry is not included in that, did it sell that much better? I would have thought SQ did.

Grabbed the Space Quest collection. I've only played 1 & 2, so I'm pretty excited. Thanks!

Police Quest isn't included either. SWAT and Leisure Suit Larry are still active properties at Sierra, so that might have had something to do to influence the sales.

PQ collections are the only ones of the original collections that actually sell for reasonable prices. If you take a look around (eBay, etc.) you might be able to find the original collection with the nice big box and manual for the same price.
