Yes. I have played it.

It's a great game, well worth the money, as it offers replayability and includes a very interesting DVD style commentary track by Dave Gilbert. The game itself is fun, has an interesting story, and is a bit different in the sense that it has no inventory based puzzles. The puzzles are all based on clues and dialog, and are all very logical.

The backgrounds are very nice, as are the animations. The voice acting is great too, and I'm not just saying that because I play a character . This game shows a lot of effort and polish, something we've come to expect from Dave Gilbert. He and his team have done a great job.

Is it a bad sign that I've never heard of this title?

Not really. It just suggests that you don't read the news on this site (see the fourth link from top on the main news), that you haven't been following Dave Gilbert and that Manifesto games haven't yet started one of their heavy-handed-but-successful marketing campaigns.

Great game. Haven't finished it yet, but I loved it.

Forcing you the player to think for you the character is sometimes a bit irksome (I saw the answer to one puzzle waaay before figuring out how to actually implement it) but does lead to some good puzzles and clever solutions, even without inventory-based puzzles.

I can't wait to see more. If you liked The Shivah, total no-brainer if you ask me. I wish Dave all the best with it.

It's excellent. Better and much longer than the Shivah, although the subject matter is not quite as different. Very good voices for an indie game, none were distracting. The graphics are also good if you like 320x240. For $15 I could have done with just a bit more content, but I'm really happy with it. I'll definitely buy Dave Gilbert's next game as well.

I'll wait for reviews, I tried Shiva and found it really boring. That was the free version mind you.

Maybe the voices make the difference.

Or maybe you're dead inside.
