I did some searching to see if I could find it. It may have been this interview I was remembering.

But what about the next game? 'It's in the lap of the gods. There's a lot of point-and-click and a lot of talking in this one [Discworld Noir] but what else can you do with a detective game? Even Lara Croft has to do certain things get object A, transport it to location B, pull lever C then door D will open. If there is another Discworld game, then I want it to be as different as possible from what's gone before. Perhaps multiplayer...'

In my search for the interview I also came across this:

There won't be a Discworld MMORPG.

And an oddly named swimsuit company.

I probably should not have spent too much time reading all the details of the press clippings...but alas, this always happens to me when browsing the L-Space.
