Lucas:
1 : The Secret of Monkey Island
2 : Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
3 : Day of the Tentacle
4 : Grim Fandango
5 : Loom

It breaks my heart not to name Monkey 2, The Dig and Sam and Max, so there you go.

Sierra (I'm no fan of Sierra, but still)
1 : Gabriel Knight 2
2 : Space Quest 5
3 : Conquest of the Longbow
4 : Leisure Suit Larry 7
5 : Police Quest 4

LucasArts:

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
The Dig
Day of the Tentacle
Sam and Max
Monkey Island 1

Sierra (haven't played the GK series yet (don't kill me!), so...)

Quest for Glory I
King's Quest V
Leisure Suit Larry I
Freddy Pharkas
Goblins 3

But then again, I haven't played any SQ, PQ, Laura Bow, Phantasmagoria...

I can only speak for Sierra...

1)...

...

You know what, just play the Space Quest series and the Gabriel Knight series. That's all you have to do. If you can do that, I'll play the Monkey Island series and Grim Fandango. I swear.

Gabriel Knight isn't LucasArts, dnldnl.

And I'm surprised to see MI4 on top . To each his own I guess.

Despite all the criticism MI4 received, I loved its "infantile" humor. It pained me greatly, that no one except GoT, has included it into top 5

Nope, Sierra, I think Dynamix published a re-release of the original on 3DO (I think), but I'm fairly positive Sierra published the rest.

Lucasarts:
1 Grim Fandango
2 Monkey Island 1
3 Monkey Island 2
4 The Dig
5 Full Throttle

Sierra:
1 GK3
2 GK1
3 KQ6
4 QFG4
5 QFG5
