Okay, this isn't a vs contest. But what are the top five Sierra and LucasArts games every adventure gamer should have played at least once?

So, I'll begin;

LucaArts:

1. Monkey Island 1
2. Monkey Island 2
3. Grim Fandago
4. Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
5. Curse of Monkey Island

(yeah, I'm a Monkey Island fanboy)

Sierra:

1. Leisure Suit Larry 3
2. Police Quest
3. Leisure Suit Larry 1
4. Police Quest 2
5. Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail

These lists are bound to change though, depending on the mood.

3. Ecoquest: The Search for Cetus
4. Ecoquest 2: The Secret of the Rainforest
5. Gold Rush

The games that show Sierra's idiotic game designs:

1. Police Quest 2

And many others, man I hate those Sierra's games that feature the utterly stupid sudden death sequences.

Yes, I'm quite sure it did. I've never completed the game, but from what I've heard, Gold Rush has a lot of the same stupidity in game design as PQ2 etc.

(Incidentally, my numbers 6-10 are Sam and Max Hit the Road, Full Throttle, The Dig, The Curse of Monkey Island, and Loom. It's so hard to whittle down the list to 5, since LucasArts always turned out quality games.)

I am surprised that only 8/12 so far have DOTT in their list. I will make that 9/13.
