website: http://scummvm.drunkencoders.com/#download
Okay, Im reading up on how to get old adventure games to work on my DS, and I wanted to know if any of you have used this guys method or used this product: website: http://play.com/Games/DS/GENBRW/3-/9...S/Product.html * 4GB Hard Drive - Transfer and store: up to ten full length movies, over 1000 mp3 songs or thousands of digital photos. * USB Cable * MP3 playback * Video viewer * Digital image viewer Would this product be more painless and safer? Any thoughts?

It looks pretty hardcore. I've been thinking of having a go at it for a while - it might be the only way I'll ever bother to play Broken Sword! - but not just yet.
Thanks for posting the link, though. Very helpful! |

No voices though, I presume. |

Ive recently heard about this off a freind and didnt no how to go about doing it...so thanks for showing me.
It will just be amazeing playing DOTT or Sam 'n' Max on the go. A few months back i saw a image on google of DOTT on a DS but thought it was a photoshopped image...but seems you can do this stuff... cheers matty(games_Master) |

Oh cool they made a use for the second screen.
And apparently the GBA broken sword doesnt have cutscenes either, just still frames.

I've fixed that now.
I should have checked the ScummVM DS compatibility list before getting all excited about playing b0rked sword, because it doesn't support anything more recent than Day of the Tentacle and Sam and Max. The games is does support are really nicely implemented, with full talkie support and a zoomed-in view that tracks the action in cutscenes - like a less extreme version of Phoenix Wright. I'll be having fun with this! |

I use the supercard SD and it's awesome. I think it's the cheaper alternative to the M3. There are constantly releasing firmware updates for improvements. It's sold pretty cheaply on ebay and at dealextreme/fifthunit (which is a pretty reliable seller judging from Slickdeals forums and from personal experience). Of course you also need a superpass to run the supercard.
